Our Daily Rate Charge

£30 each an hour - seems a little steep for our 'lack' of experience compared to other designers. I realised that most of the costs are tangible assets that would just need to be included in the start up costs - such as computers, software etc and wouldn't need buying every year.

The studio needs to make £130,438.79 to break even - pay the £16,738.79 studio costs and for all four of us to take £86700 between us.
Our hourly rate is £16.41 per designer but as a studio for all four of us would be £525.07.
However, in order to make a profit - save some money - to buy new equipment, give us a bonus etc, we will round the figure up to £25 an hour - £800 as a studio.
Obviously if it only needs one of us to do one job it would cost £200 - working on an 8 hour day.

Markup is therefore 66%. (£16.40 / 66) * 100 = 24.84' round up to £25.
